Default Dirt Scoop for Mahindra 2816

Register to stop seeing this ad!

I am thinking about adding a dirt scoop to use on my Mahindra 2816 Gear Drive tractor. I am looking at the 30 inch size scoop at Tractor Supply, has anyone on this forum used a dirt scoop on their 2816, and if so what is the maximum size that you have used? The pins on the dirt scoop at Tractor Supply is a minimum 30 inches if they are turned to the inside of the scoop, the 3 pt. hitch on the 2816 is maxed out at 30 inches. Please post here if anyone has used a scoop on their tractor any help would be appreciated.

I went ahead and purchased the 30 inch scoop, it works great on my 2816. It takes some bit of adjusting the angle of the cutting blade, until, I got that right, I was on my way to China. It will dig deep, and doesn't bog the engine down at all. I was prepared to modify the hitch because of the 30 inch width, but I didn't need to.

Question

So, do you have any pics of the scoop in action? I don't own any implements but I am looking to buy a shredder and box blade. I do have a FEL for dirt work, not sure that I would need a rear scoop.
