Register to stop seeing this ad! Can anyone tell me how my hydraulics might fill with air? New tractor, less than 25 hours so far. I first noticed it when I removed the hydraulic check stem on side of transmission housing. When I removed it, fluid dumped out. It looked milky so I assumed it must have gotten water into it, but after I drained it ALL, no water was found. I did drain some into a glass jar, to the top. The next day there was only about 1/3 in the jar. The air settled and the fluid returned to normal. My question is this, has anyone else seen such an issue and if so, where would one start to locate the source of the air entry? The Mahindra mechanic came out yesterday and thought he found and fixed it BUT today as I was mowing, I lost steering (nearly had some trouble there) and my brush hog hit the gournd and wouldn't lift. So again any recommendations would be most welcome. thank you for reading my post. Ken |
